Giant PKK operation in Belgium

In Belgium, approximately 300 police have conducted raids on important bases believed to belong to the PKK terrorist organization.

According to the information obtained, the PKK Kongra-Gel Leader Zübeyir Aydar and Remzi Kartal have been detained.

The news released by Belgium radio stated that police have raided 25 PKK locations in Brussels, Anvers, Crarleroj, Namur and Verviers as well as the ROJ TV station in the Denderleeuw village. 

The prosecutor in charge of the operation, in which a number of suspects have been detained, is expected to release detailed information during a press conference to be held this evening.
