“Turkey has made wonderful progress”

England’s Prime Minister Brown attended a Turkish night held in London and stated; “I want to congratulate the wonderful progress and change experienced by Turkey over the recent years.”

Brown attended a night devoted to celebrating the third anniversary of Turkey’s Labour Party Comrades Group. During the event, Brown qualified the political and economic progress Turkey has achieved in recent years as, “wonderful progress,” and added; “Ankara’s place is in the EU.”

During his address, Foreign Affairs Minister Miliband stated; “The change in Turkey works to both England and Europe’s benefit.”
