An order to attack
All eyes are on tonight’s game between Galatasaray and Eskişehir. Technical Director Rijkaard has no intentions of changing his line-up after the successful game last week against Kasımpaşa, and has put Elano, who has recovered from an injury, in the starting line-up.
Galatasaray took off for Eskişehir yesterday following a training session in the Florya Metin Oktay Facilities. Rijkaard intends to secure three points after rivals Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor closed the week with wins.
The Kader Keita- Arda Turan- Giovanı Dos Santos- Joao Alves foursome will be Galatasaray’s striking weapons tonight.
Elano Blumer, who suffered an injury in the Kasımpaşa game, has intentions to play tonight, supposedly telling Rijkaard; “I do not want to leave my team on its own in tonight’s difficult game.” Mustafa Sarp is expected to join the Brazilian star in the center field.
During a team meeting yesterday, Rijkaard told the team; “We have given points to our rivals on our own home turf. I do not want any mistakes tonight. Let’s win and protect our lead in the league.”
Eskişehirspor has posed trouble for Galatasaray for the past two seasons; however they hope to put an end to the streak tonight. Galatasaray lost twice to Eskişehirspor last season, and only secured a 1-1 draw in the first half of this season.
