In the 23rd week of the Turkcell Super League, Galatasaray hosted Kasımpaşa to a 4-1 win, protecting their status as league leaders.
After saying goodbye to Europe aspirations due to a number of tragic referee calls, Galatasaray has now placed full focus on the league and last night on destroying Kasımpaşa. Galatasaray took the lead with a goal by Arda, yet Yekta scored an equalizer. However, within a span of nine minutes, Keita scored two goals and Jo scored from a penalty shot. After last night’s win, Galatasaray has now secured a five-point lead over Fenerbahçe in the league.
