Envelope with bullets left at government headquarters

After 11th High Criminal Court Judge Kadir Kayan and Special Authority Prosecutor Mustafa Bilgili, who were investigating allegations of an assassination plan on Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç, both received envelopes containing eight bullets each, a similar threat has now been delivered to the Justice and Development Party Headquarters.

At approximately 05:30 am the morning prior, an envelope containing four blank bullets was left in front of the main entrance of the AK Party Headquarters. Police holding guard in the vicinity claim they saw a yellow Fiat Albea. Upon inspection of AK Party Headquarters’ security cameras, it was detected that the cameras were not functional at the time the envelope containing the four bullets was left at the front door of the building.
