Swine flu season is over
The Ministry of Health has shut down the crisis center established to handle the high number of swine flu cases as efforts are being made to return the vaccinations.
Just months after the world was warned of an epidemic, from which Turkey also lost 600 to the flu, it seems that the H1N1 virus appears to be retreating even before the close of winter. Meanwhile, the Ministry, which had previously placed an order for 43 million doses of the vaccination, yet only used four million, is planning to return 35 million doses.
The swine flu took a toll on Turkey from the months of October to January and led to over 600 deaths, however to have to come to an end beofre the winter’s close. When the World Health Organization made the announcement that the false epidemic had been started by pharmaceutical companies, the Ministry of Health immediately shut down the center which had been especially established to handle the A influenza. Now a number of nations which had purchased the swine flu vaccine are intending to return them.
