SpurlForest fire in Foca
A fire has erupted in a forested region located near the Foca district in Izmir. Attempts to extinguish the fire are being made from both land and air.
According to information received by the Izmir Forest Authority, the fire is expanding due to the wind. Izmir’s fire fighting teams are joined by other fire fighters brought in from other regions. Seven planes, three helicopters and 21 firefighting trucks are currently working in the region.
