Turkey's Altinbas says in talks with ENI for fuel unit

Turkish conglomerate Altinbas Holding is in talks with Italian energy firm ENI (ENI.MI) to establish a partnership in its unlisted fuel retailer Alpet, said the chairman of the Turkish group.

July 29 (Reuters) - Imam Altinbas, the conglomerate's chairman, said no decision has been taken yet on the partnership, but that he plans to boost Alpet's domestic market share to 10 percent from a current share of 3 percent.

He also said the holding was eyeing acquisitions abroad in sectors where it is active and that it was considering initial public offerings for all of its 35 companies when market conditions are favourable. (Reporting by Evrim Ergin)
